The second year of HNY special event station was welcomed again with a lot of enthusiasm from hams around the world. We were active from the 15th of Dec 2017 to the 15th of January 2018. Although propagation was poorer than in 2016-2017, we still did more that 2000 QSOs. The brand new 40m quarter wave vertical we installed in the summer allowed us to begin operation on 40m were we had many QSOs and some DX as Japan, India, Thailand, West and East Malaysia, etc. Also, we found out that the same vertical performs well on 17M. Propagation was fairly good and most of Europe and some DX was worked in 18MHz. Another premiere for YP3A was the beginning of live Facebook transmissions while operating YP2018HNY, many people watched, liked and posted comment and we consider doing this in the future activities. 1000 QSL cards by Nasko LZ1YE were ordered and will be sent direct or via bureau all around the world.
